Dhaakad: Kangana Ranaut Increases Police Protection As Protesters Try To Stop The Shoot In MP; Calls It ‘Chronicles Of An Opinionated Woman’
Actor Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for her upcoming film, Dhaakad which is being carried out in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. But the shoot came to a halt because of some protesters. The actor, who has been quite vocal about the farmer protests in India on Twitter, accused some Congress workers of stopping her shoot in the city. She recently took to her Twitter handle to inform that she has increased police protection for the same. Kangana even mentioned that Congress MLAs have revealed that they are protesting on behalf of farmers.

Expressing her disappointment, the Panga actor wrote, “Police protection has been increased around me as  @INCIndia  workers in MP carried out a protest to stop my shoot. Congress MLA’s are saying they are protesting on behalf of farmers, which farmers gave them such a power of attorney why can’t they protest for themselves?” She even shared a small video, giving a glimpse of the location where hundreds of people have thronged at the film’s set.

She had to change her car and take the longer route due to the protest outside her film shoot. She feels this is the ‘chronicles of an opinionated woman’ as she wrote, “This evening congress workers outside my shoot location, for now police have dispersed them and I had to change my car and come via longer route .... chronicles of an opinionated woman.”

Earlier, a report by PTI stated that Ms Ranaut has been provided with security by MP police. Speaking with the news agency, Sarni Superintendent of Police Abhay Ram Choudhary said, "Security has been tightened for the actress after MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra directed Betul Superintendent of Police Simala Prasad to do so."

It happened when it was reported that Congress leaders in Betul district have threatened that they will not allow Kangana to shoot for Dhaakad until she apologises to the farmers over her tweets.
